A Waste baler can be installed which compresses the waste both for general waste and cardboard separately.

The skip is emptied only once each month instead of once every 2 weeks.
Similarly in most areas the cardboard waste if separated and stored in bales may receive free collections.

Recycling and reducing CO2 emissions

As noted above if the waste is collected free of charge (quantities are sufficient) the resultant cardboard is recycled and re-used. However by reducing the number of collections undertaken from your site you may help to reduce vehicle journeys and thereby help to reduce CO2 emissions.
