With promises that interest rates are now
at their peak and the mayhem of Christmas soon to be behind
us, we look forward to 2007 as a year that holds the promise
of renewed opportunity within all sectors of the automotive
market . The introduction of further legislation will move the
accident repair sector 100% over to water based technology,
completing the important changes first introduced almost ten
years ago.
There
is no doubt that the perceptions of the hazardous waste produced
within the automotive sector every working day have altered
dramatically in the last twelve months, with both technicians
and Service Managers alike now more aware of their individual
Duty of Care and the potential hazards of non compliance.
The
waste market as a whole continues to mature as this awareness
develops and it is now very clear to all within the industry
that waste compliance programmes, such as the Credential Automotive
Total Waste Management Programme, once seen as a luxury by many
is now a necessity for all in this the 21st Century and full
compliance today is a must not a future target for achievement.
