The
fixed penalty notices will be used to tackle offences that are
less serious to the environment and can be used as an alternative
to prosecution. Offences which can attract a fixed penalty notice
include:-
• IF YOU PRODUCE HAZARDOUS WASTE BUT ARE NOT REGISTERED.
• IF YOU ARE ASKED TO PRODUCE INFORMATION FOR THE E.A
IN A TIME LIMIT BUT FAIL TO DO SO.
• IF YOU ARE NOT COMPLING WITH THE “DUTY OF CARE”
REGULATIONS.
• IF YOU ATTEMPT TO CARRY WASTE BUT ARE NOT REGISTERED
TO DO SO. |
