New legislation from October 2007 your
Non–Hazardous waste such as general trade
waste must be treated before being landfilled
     
 
New Rules mean that from the 30th October 2007 non-hazardous waste must be treated before it is disposed of at a landfill site and any liquid waste will be banned altogether from landfills.

This in essence means that your general waste must be sorted through a physical means or other process to help reduce its volume or nature and aid in the recovery. The waste producer is NOT the person obliged to treat the waste...
