A brief visit to Iceland was required to assess the quality
of the shed for processing through the Tyrannosaurus machine
at Wednesbury. The shred will be shipped from Iceland to Hull
docks under Waste Shipment Regulations which where implemented
on the 12th July 2007 .
The
resultant 3000 tonnes are scheduled to be delivered to Wednesbury
by Mid September before moving the processed shred to Tyregenic
plant where it will be turned into rubber crumb and be destined
eventually to be used in one of many purposes for example:
artificial playing fields.
It is anticipated that more tonnage will be shipped across
from Hingras on a routine.
