All companies large or small must
adhere to the Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations.

Do you know what they are?

All companies must provide environmentally sound disposal of the electronic equipment they use, in line with the WEEE Regulations. The government has published guidelines for the sellers and users of electrical and electronic goods on how to stay on the right side of new laws regarding their disposal. The guidelines are designed to help clarify Europe's Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations.

Placed on the market after 13th August 2005 – Future

Timetable for Implementation and Compliance
WEEE regulations placed obligations on producers and distributors of EEE from 1st July 2007. The first WEEE compliance period ran from 1st July 2007 to 31st December 2007. Each subsequent period runs annually from 1st January.
