HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY STATEMENT

1. The Board of Directors of Credential Environmental Ltd recognise their duties and responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work, etc. Act 1974, and will proactively work with its, employees, clients, contractors and others, to ensure as far as reasonably practicable, the health safety and welfare of all persons employed by the company and others not in their employment that maybe affected by the company's undertaking.

1.2 The Board of Directors are committed to, as far as is reasonably practicable, making sufficient resources available to meet the company's duties to:

1.2.1 provide, develop and maintain plant and systems of work that are safe and without risks to health.

1.2.2 make suitable arrangements for the safe use, handling, storage and transport of "articles and substances" which are inherently or potentially dangerous.

1.2.3 provide relevant information, instruction, training and supervision to ensure as far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety at work of every employee, and to work with the employees to develop a positive approach to health and safety.

1.2.4 establish and maintain the workplace in a safe and condition, and the provision of safe means of access and egress from the workplace, by carrying out suitable assessments and developing an action plan to implement measures that are needed to address any items that do not meet the requirements detailed in current legislation.

1.2.5 provide and maintain a safe and healthy working environment with adequate welfare facilities and arrangements.

1.2.6 provide and maintain an appropriate method for employees to communicate with the management on matters of health and safety and to ensure that the standards achieved do not deteriorate.

1.2.7 ensure that adequate provision is made for the monitoring and reviewing this policy at regular intervals and to update the associated documentation where required by: changes in personnel or plant or the need for reassessment due to changes in legislation, in safe systems of working and operational procedures.

Application

The Managing Director of Credential Environmental Ltd will ensure the implementation of this policy by appointing a Competent Person for the company. He has responsibility for making sure that this policy is applied to all areas of the business, to monitor its effectiveness and to make recommendations to the Board of Directors to enable them establish a proactive approach to its execution and resource allocation. The organisation and arrangements for this policy are detailed in the company's safety policy and procedures manual.


ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY STATEMENT

Credential Environmental Ltd is committed to the development and implementation of its Environmental Policy throughout its business activities.
Carry out our business in a manner which has no adverse effects upon the environment or public health.
Ensure that all elements of the environment affected by the Company's activities undergo the minimum amount of interference and in any event do not suffer any material or lasting damage.
Protect and enhance the environment of people in the vicinity of the Company's activities.
Conserve resources by maximising the recovery of energy and materials from waste when economically viable.
Ensure that all Company facilities are constructed to the highest appropriate standards, that they function efficiently and are visually attractive.
Operate to standards higher than those required by Law, Regulations and professional Codes of Practise; and thus go beyond minimum legal requirements.
The Credential Environmental Environmental Policy was approved by the directors, supported by the employees and is monitored on an ongoing basis.
