Jun 2005 – Assets and goodwill of Worcester based Betta Special Waste and Betta Environmental acquired by Credential Environmental (CEL) from the Betta plc group.

Mar 2005 – Majority shareholding in the Credential Environmental Ltd acquired by Ailsa3 Ventures Ltd

Dec 2003 – Credential Environmental acquired the Waste Solutions
Group to substantially increase tyre collection capability, which enabled Credential Environmental to provide a national service, and garage waste collection services.

Jan 2002 – The Waste Solution Group was formed as the parent company for the two highly successful existing businesses, Waste Tyre Solutions (WTS) and Automotive Waste Solutions (AWS).

Nov 2001 – Credential Environmental purchased Midco Waste Management Ltd which provided the company with additional waste tyre processing capability and the hazardous waste transfer station based in Hinckley.

Sep 2001 – Incorporation of Credential Environmental Ltd

Aug 2000 – The business was started by Credential Holdings Ltd, a Glasgow based property company with the acquisition of a tyre granulation plant in Sheffield.
